What is it about:
The TeCuento application, developed by the CNSE Foundation, with the support of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport and the ONCE Foundation, is presented as a specific virtual library for deaf people, in which stories and books have gradually been incorporated. translated into the Spanish sign language, such as "Platero y Yo", "The Fallen Angel", "The Queen of the Seas" or "What fun it is to eat fruit!".
In addition, this application includes a specific section in which users can create their own stories, both in sign language and in Spanish, and share them with anyone who, in turn, has installed the «app».
The objective is to promote the reading habit and literary creation between deaf children and youth through the Spanish sign language, and to facilitate the work that families and professionals perform in this field.
