We have tested the FS22 terminal of the Facitel brand and have found many interesting points designed for the elderly.
Buttons and physical appearance
First, it emphasizes its design with a manageable size that has a flip-up screen and a robust construction. The phone is available in red or black colors.
The display on its front cover has 2 indicator lights for call and battery level warning.
The keyboard has large keys with clearly defined functions and high contrast, although there is no great separation between them.
There are side keys of the volume control which we value very positively compared to other models. Additionally it has a dedicated key to enable the very high volume that raises the ringtone by 25dB. There are also M1 and M2 keys for memorizing frequent numbers.

Menu and texts
In the menus the font size is large and has a good contrast.
The menus are presented in a list format with all the options displayed due to the large font size, it is necessary to wait for the text to scroll horizontally on the screen to read all the content. This format is successful because it avoids getting lost in more complex submenus.

SOS button
The phone has an SOS button to communicate emergencies that sends a call and an emergency message to previously selected contacts.
After pressing it, an emergency tone is activated through the loudspeaker, but the calls take time to progress, therefore it may generate some uncertainty in the user.
Additionally you can configure the low battery level SMS notification to the selected contacts.

Calls and SMS
The volume of calls can be controlled in real time from the side button and even increase 25 dB from the dedicated button that includes the keypad. This maximum volume being quite high.
The phone allows you to include up to 8 photo contacts so that by pressing the cursor down key you can see a contact photo associated with each number to make a speed dial.
The phone has a speaker for hands-free use.
Sending SMS messages is a simple procedure.
One of the points to improve that we have seen is the time it takes for calls to progress since dialing occurs since it is much higher than other phones we have tested.
Camera
The camera that incorporates the terminal is low resolution, but it is enough to take basic photos or use the magnifying glass functionality.
Manual
The manual included in the product box is small and does not include all possible functionalities, in addition to the product website there is also no version in digital format that provides more information.
FM radio and audio playback
The FM radio does not have a Jack output for the use of headphones so it can only be heard with a loudspeaker or through Bluetooth or USB headphones.
The FM radio built into this phone does not have high sound quality and tuning possibly because it does not make use of the Jack connection headphones as an antenna as in the case of other models.
The phone has audio recording and storage functionality through the microphone.
Charging base
The product includes a charging base that fits well. The phone has a light signal and charging confirmation sound to make sure the correct placement in the base.

Battery
The capacity of the battery is 800 mAh that provide a range of 160 hours at rest or 5.5 hours on call.
Additional storage
There is the possibility of including additional storage via SD card. This is necessary for recording videos or storing Mp3 audio
Conectivity
No dispone de conectividad mediante WiFi ni datos móviles.
Incorpora Bluetooth para entre otras cosas la conexión de auriculares inalámbricos para el uso de la radio o reproducción de audio.
Flashlight, alarm, calendar, alarm and magnifying glass
It has a magnifier of up to 4 magnifications through the camera.
The phone incorporates a flashlight that is activated by a side switch.
The phone includes in its menu under the icon "organizer" functionalities such as calendar, alarm and calculator of simple use.
Accessibility
As a novelty compared to other terminals, it has numbers read by voice and auditory load indicator.
Menus and keys have large letters and symbols with good contrast.
The terminal is compatible with the HAC-M4 / T standard.
